Community & Participant Benefits

No matter what your creative or artistic background, there are myriad benefits to becoming a Wunder Gym member.

Alongside your supportive member community, participation in group shows at established galleries enables you to gain real-world experience in exhibiting, pricing and selling your work through monthly group shows.

The opportunity to interact with the established mentoring artist via the In Conversation event is a hero feature of Wunder Gym’s program. This is your chance to gather incisive feedback on your work in a friendly and supportive environment, and ask questions about the Mentor’s process and career in the arts world.

All the while, the networking and community-building opportunities amongst fellow Members, mentor artists, gallerists and the like cannot be understated.

Some Members are established artists who are looking for ‘stretch projects’ and exposure to different forms and methods to their own practice. Some members are creative industry professionals who wish to explore an arts practice for themselves, beyond their job title or client list. And some - regarded as an ‘artist’ or not - simply want to strengthen their creative muscle!

You can’t teach art, but it might help to have really good artists around.
